Types of magnets

List of types of magnets :

Ferrite magnets

ferrite magnets

Permanent magnets composed of Barium or Strontium
Ferrite.

Alnico magnets

alnico

Magnets of composite of aluminum, nickel and cobalt with some

amounts of other elements added to enhance the properties of the
magnet.

Ceramic magnets

Are made of a composite of iron oxide and barium or strontium
carbonate.

Neodymium magnets

neodymium magnet

A type of rare-earth magnet, is a permanent magnet
made of neodymium and iron.

Samarium Cobalt magnets

samarium cobalt part

Magnetic applications where high temperature and corrosion
resistance is critical.

Flexible magnets

Those magnets are produced in flat strips and
sheets. These magnets are lower in

magnetic strength and flexible.

Isotropic magnets

Are weaker than oriented magnets, and can be magnetized in
any
direction.

Anisotropic magnet

is having a preferred direction of magnetic orientation, so
that the
magnetic

characteristics are optimum in one preferred direction.
